Troopers reported that on Saturday, authorities received a report that William Chythlook had been traveling by snowmachine from Aleknagik to Manokotak but had not arrived at his destination and had not been heard from. Tragically, searchers later located Will’s remains and his snowmachine in Lake Aleknagik. Authorities confirmed that his body will be sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. The Alaska State Troopers have stated that next of kin has been notified and that no foul play is currently suspected.
