According to Kentucky State Police, the crash occurred when a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe were traveling eastbound on Danville Road. As the Tahoe slowed to make a left turn onto Goggin Lane, investigators say the Silverado crossed the center line in an attempt to pass. In doing so, it struck the rear of the Tahoe before colliding head-on with a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Larry Myers, who was traveling west.
Larry sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Boyle County Coroner. The drivers of the other two vehicles were transported to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Kentucky State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
