It is with profound sadness that Thankful Baptist Church announces the passing of our beloved former pastor, Rev. C. Danny Johnson, who departed this life this morning in Knoxville, Tennessee. Rev. Johnson’s dedicated service to our congregation and the wider community spanned many years, during which he wholeheartedly committed his life to building God’s Kingdom for Jesus Christ. His passing marks the loss of a spiritual leader whose guidance, wisdom, and compassion touched countless lives.
Throughout his ministry, Rev. Johnson exemplified the principles of faith, humility, and service. He led the congregation with a heart full of love, providing counsel, comfort, and encouragement to members during times
