Authorities confirmed that the incident occurred at the intersection of Grande Boulevard and Paluxy Drive. According to police, Trevor had been driving a white Tesla when a confrontation unfolded between him and the driver of a white Ram pickup truck. During the encounter, a shot was fired from inside the pickup, striking Trevor in the neck. He was transported to a Tyler hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries. Officials have stated there is no evidence that Trevor was armed at the time he approached the vehicle. The suspect remained at the scene and was taken into custody, facing a charge of first-degree murder.
