With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we share the tragic news of the passing of Amanda Rodgers, a beloved mother and member of the Eldon community, whose life was lost far too soon.

Amanda Rodgers, 35, was recently reported missing, sparking days of worry, prayers, and hope from family, friends, and the wider community. Sadly, those hopes were met with heartbreak when the Miller County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Amanda was found deceased following a vehicle crash in Miller County.
According to an Endangered Person Advisory issued on Saturday, January 31, 2026, Amanda was last seen on Monday, January 26, when she left Eldon to travel to Camdenton to pick up her children—a simple, loving act that reflects the kind of person she was: devoted, caring, and always putting her family first.
In a press release, officials stated they were called to a crash scene on Highway 54 near Howser Road in the early hours of Monday, February 2. A Miller County Sheriff’s deputy later located Amanda’s vehicle, which had gone off the roadway and was concealed by a fallen tree, tragically hidden from view for days.
The Miller County Coroner’s Office, along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, is investigating the death. While authorities have indicated the crash appears to be accidental, a full investigation is being conducted as required by Missouri law.
Amanda’s passing has left an indescribable void in the lives of those who loved her most—especially her children, who were the center of her world. She was more than a name in a report; she was a daughter, a mother, a friend, and a soul whose love and presence mattered deeply. Her smile, her strength, and her devotion to her family will never be forgotten.
As the community mourns, we ask that you keep Amanda’s family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. May they find comfort in the memories they shared, strength in one another, and peace in knowing Amanda’s love will continue to surround them.
Rest in peace, Amanda Rodgers. Your journey ended too soon, but your memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved you.
