Iowa Park, TX — Dorothy Louise Brewer, 81, of Iowa Park, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving husband, Willie Brewer, and her devoted children, David Brewer, Donna Baker, and Jennifer Reid. Born on September 25, 1944, in Dallas, Texas, Dorothy lived a life marked by love, faith, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community.
Dorothy was cherished not only for her nurturing spirit but also for her warmth, generosity, and devotion to the people she loved. Family gatherings, church activities, and community involvement were central to her life, and she touched the lives of all who knew her with kindness and grace. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire her family, friends, and everyone whose lives she enriched.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 18, from 6–8 p.m. at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, February 19, at 10:00 a.m. at The First Presbyterian Church in Bowie, Texas, officiated by Steve Sullwold and Caleb Myers. Interment will follow at Montague Cemetery.
Dorothy’s grandsons—Conner Brewer, Cody Myers, Grayson Seay, Zane Seay, Kyle Baker, Devon Reid, Bryce Reid, Braylen Brewer, and Jackson Reid—will serve as pallbearers, honoring their grandmother’s remarkable life.
