Authorities noted that Hotchkiss was also not wearing a seatbelt.

The driver of the Dodge truck, Morgan Anderson, was not reported to have sustained serious injuries. The Fairfield Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, and local fire departments assisted at the scene.
